We celebrate all the milestones in life and this was no different. More than ever we appreciate Isabella reaching a new milestone in her life. On January 14th, she turned six months old. After the most difficult week of our lives with her hospitalization, we were extremely excited to celebrate her half birthday.
Our brave little girl had to have blood drawn at Children's Hospital on this day but she did beautifully. We had the same nurse we saw in the ER when we had arrived the week before. Isabella was excited to see her and didn't cry at all when getting her blood drawn. We were worried about her reaction after being poked all week but she did great!
After our visit to the hospital, we took her out for dinner where she was the star of the restaurant. We are always so happy to see how social she is. It was a wonderful end to a difficult week but hopefully the beginning of a new, healthy chapter in Isabella's life.
